CareVault ("we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the CareVault mobile app and website.
We collect information you provide directly:
All data is encrypted in transit using TLS and encrypted at rest. We use Supabase for secure data storage. Your health data is stored on servers in the United States. We implement industry-standard security practices to protect your information.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information or health data with third parties for marketing purposes. Your health data belongs to you.
CareVault uses Anthropic's Claude AI to generate summaries of health logs and power the AI assistant. Log content is sent to Anthropic's API for processing. Anthropic does not use your data to train AI models. For more information, see Anthropic's privacy policy at anthropic.com/privacy.
When you invite family members to share a care profile, they will be able to view health logs, vitals, and medications for that care recipient. You control who has access and can revoke access at any time.
You can delete your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us at hello@carevault.space. We will permanently delete your data within 30 days of your request.
CareVault is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 13, please contact us immediately.
CareVault is a personal health organization tool, not a medical device. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider for medical decisions. The information stored in CareVault is for personal record-keeping only.
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or through the app. Continued use of CareVault after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
