Welcome to CareVault. These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the CareVault mobile application and website (together, the "Service"), operated by CareVault ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and use CareVault. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement.
CareVault is a personal health organization tool designed to help family caregivers track daily logs, vital signs, medications, and coordinate care with family members. CareVault uses AI (including Anthropic's Claude) to summarize logs and answer questions based on the data you provide.
CareVault is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. The AI features are for informational and organizational purposes only. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider for any medical decisions. Never disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of something you read or generated in CareVault.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at hello@carevault.space if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.
You retain ownership of all health data, logs, and information you enter into CareVault ("Your Content"). By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process Your Content solely to provide the Service to you, including sending relevant data to our AI provider (Anthropic) for summarization and Q&A features.
If you invite family members to a shared care profile, you are responsible for ensuring you have appropriate authority to share that person's health information. Invited members will be able to view and, depending on permissions, edit the shared care recipient's data.

CareVault offers a free tier and may offer paid subscription plans with additional features. Pricing and features are described in the app. Subscriptions, where applicable, are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play and are subject to their respective terms.
You may stop using CareVault and delete your account at any time from the app's Profile screen. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated summaries will be fully accurate.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, CareVault shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including reliance on AI-generated content.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
